Oral Hygiene Instructions

Healthy habit is a path to a healthy mouth. Here are some oral health tips to get you started:

  1. Brush your teeth at least twice a day, try to do it within 30 mins after eating.
  2. Floss after you eat.
  3. Mouth rinse before bedtime.
  4. Circular motions or vertical strokes while brushing, no back-forth strokes.
  5. Gentle brushing, no need to be aggressive while brushing.
  6. Visit your dentist for a dental exam and cleaning at least every 6 months, or as recommended.
  7. Check your gums to make sure they’re pink and that the gum line hugs teeth tightly. Your gums should not bleed when you brush.
  8. Stop smoking. Smoking puts you at risk for oral cancer and infection.
